Overview
When a Grade Book is locked, it means the grading period has ended or grades have been submitted and approved. Locked Grade Books are view-only to preserve accuracy.
When a Grade Book is Locked
- You can open and review grades and computations.
- You cannot edit grades or make changes.
When a Grade Book is Unlocked
- You can enter or edit grades as usual.
- If you had saved drafts before the lock, Grado opens the Preview Changes page to help you review them.
Requesting Reopen Access
If you need to update grades after locking:
- Contact your school's Grado administrator.
- Once reopened, make the necessary corrections and resubmit grades.
