Every Grado user—whether an Administrator, Faculty member, or Student—accesses the system using a single institutional Grado portal link (for example, schoolname.grado.works).
This single-entry design means users don’t need to remember different URLs.
Once logged in, Grado automatically routes each user to the correct portal dashboard based on their account type.
Grado currently supports two types of login:
Used by schools that manage credentials directly within Grado.
To log in:
Go to your institution’s Grado portal (e.g., schoolname.grado.works).
Enter your School Code, User ID, and Password.
Click Log In.
If the credentials are correct, you’ll be redirected to your respective dashboard (Admin, Faculty, or Student).
Grado also supports secure login via Google Workspace or Gmail accounts registered with the institution.
To use Google SSO:
On the login page, click Sign in with Google.
A new window opens asking you to select or enter your Google account.
Choose the account associated with your school email.
Approve the permission prompt.
Once verified, you’ll be automatically redirected to your portal dashboard.
💡 Note:
SSO can only be used if your Google email is already registered in your school’s Grado account.
Starting with Grado Version 10.x, user logins are now email-based instead of student numbers or legacy IDs. This aligns Grado with modern authentication practices and supports integration with Google accounts.
| Previous Format | New Format |
| Student Number / ID | Registered Email Address |
| Manual Credential | Reset Password Recovery via Email Link |
🔄 Transition Tip:
Schools are encouraged to update student and faculty accounts with valid email addresses for smoother login and recovery.
If you can’t log in due to a forgotten password or a locked account:
Click Forgot Password? on the login page.
Enter your registered email address.
Check your inbox for a password reset link.
Follow the instructions to set a new password.
If the issue persists, contact your Grado System Administrator.
After logging in, you’ll be directed to the dashboard specific to your user type:
Admin Users → Admin Dashboard
Faculty Members → Faculty Dashboard
Students → Student Dashboard
This automatic routing ensures a seamless experience—no need to select or remember separate links.
